Elephant Bedroom Camp is a truly lovely modest place, with the most authentic safari ambience of anywhere inside the reserve. With it situated on a riverside setting, in the heart of the Samburu National Reserve, these spacious tented camps are visited almost daily by a herd of elephant.
Day 1: Nairobi - Samburu
Pick up from residence and depart for Samburu by road at 0630hrs. Arrive Elephant Bedroom Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Bedroom Camp. (FB)
The Samburu National Reserve is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ng'iro river in Kenya. On the other side of the river is the Buffalo Springs National Reserve. The park is 165 km² in size and is situated 350 kilometers from Nairobi.Geographically, it is located in Samburu County.
Samburu National Reserve is very peaceful and attracts animals because of the Ewaso Ng'iro river (meaning "brown water" and pronounced U-aa-so-Nyee-ro) that runs through it and the mixture of acacia, riverine forest, thorn trees and grassland vegetation.

Early morning game drive that promises to be thrilling. Breakfast at the Camp. Time at leisure. Lunch at Elephant Bedroom Camp. An early evening game drive in Samburu National Reserve . Dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Bedroom Camp. (FB)
Day 3: Samburu - Nairobi
Early morning game drive at 0630hrs. Return to Elephant Bedroom Camp for breakfast. Depart for Nairobi. Arrive Nairobi. Drop off at the residence. (B)
