Naivasha Simba Lodge
It is located 90 minutes away from Nairobi by road.
The Naivasha Simba Lodge is situated on the banks of Lake Naivasha, the cleanest lake in the Great Rift Valley. This fresh water lake was once Nairobi’s main landing strip for the luxury Flying Boats that came all the way from London. Travellers would then proceed to Nairobi by bus. It has no known outlet, which is considered a requisite for a fresh water lake!
Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge
Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge is located within Amboseli National Park, which lies approximately 250 kilometres from Nairobi and close to the Tanzanian border.
Set against the magnificent backdrop of Africa's highest mountain, the glittering Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge enjoys a uniquely privileged position at the heart of this world-famous national park.
Secluded within a grove of acacia trees, the lodge looks out over the golden savannah plains, with uninterrupted views of the mountain itself. Close by are a series of emerald green swamps, which are fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. These, the only sources of water in this otherwise starkly beautiful but arid park, attract huge numbers of wallowing elephants, hippos, buffalos and plains game. Meanwhile, from the prehistoric site of Observation Hill, the sunset over Kilimanjaro is magnificent.
The Carnivore Restaurant
The Carnivore restaurant is home of the Simba Saloon, a delicious a la carte restaurant by day and Nairobi's most popular nightclub. The informal indoor/outdoor atmosphere, exceptional snacks and the pulsating rhythms of Africa combine to ensure an exciting ambiance.
The Carnivore is the ultimate 'Beast of a Feast' A variety of meat including ostrich, crocodile and camel, it is roasted over charcoal and carved at your table.
Located within 4 km from the Gigiri Forest and 8 km from the United Nations Headquarters, Jacaranda Hotel Nairobi is set amongst a 4-acre lush landscaped garden. It features free Wi-Fi and an outdoor swimming pool.
