    The Ashnil Aruba Lodge opened in May 2008 and is located close to the Aruba dam. The lodge, set amongst landscaped gardens, offers a swimming pool and children’s pool, a fine dining restaurant, a bar, a cultural center, a souvenir shop and of course, wonderful viewing platforms..

    INTRODUCTION

    The lodge's main guest area is shaded by a canopy of acacia trees and includes an open-sided restaurant, bar, lounge area and veranda deck.

    A swimming pool with sun loungers offers uninterrupted views of the waterhole, one of the best places to see wildlife come to drink. There is a small gift shop. There are plenty of shady areas in the grounds of the lodge in which to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Enjoy your stay in a small group of Saga guests at the lodge.

    The lodge is two hours' drive from Mombasa airport.

    ACCOMMODATION

    All 40 chalet rooms are fan cooled, have mosquito nets, shower rooms and a furnished veranda overlooking the plains.

    These 40 deluxe en-suite rooms with 8 having interconnecting doors. 4 triple rooms with one interconnecting room, 6 luxury tents and 2 rooms suited for disabled persons.

    RESTAURANT & DINING

    The open sitting restaurant located in the main building, overlooks the dam at all angles and can sit a maximum of 150 guests. The wooden deck shaded by canvas umbrellas can be used as extra seating  during meal times. The buffet platforms, both warm and cold, sit in the middle of the restaurant for easy access by all. The restaurant serves set buffets featuring international, oriental and traditional African cuisine.

    You stay at the Tsavo Ashnil Aruba Lodge on full board, with meals served in the open-sided restaurant. There is a free bar open 12 hours a day.


    LOUNGE BAR

    The lounge is located in the main building away from the main dining area. The décor has an African touch that makes it a wonderful place to pass time and relax.     CONFERENCING

    Ashnil Hotels has embraced the idea of conference facilities in all the three lodges/camps to compliment professionals whose line of duty demands conferencing events. We have put in place a conference facility with modern technology which includes a LCD projector for clear vision and good sound system.

    SOUVENIR SHOP

    The souvenir shop stocks curios, African clothing, jewellery and accessories as well as other basic items like toiletries etc. It is open form 6.00 am – 10.00.

    SWIMMING POOL

    After your game drive you can take a dip in our swimming pool or simply relax by the pool which overlooks the game park. This is the perfect place to relax and laze around in the calm afternoons.

    E-mails, internet browsing and general secretarial services are available at the reception.

    INFIRMARY

    We have a fully equipped clinic that caters for staff and guests. The nurse will provide assistance at a nominal fee and make referral to a larger well equipped hospital if need be.

    HOLIDAY LOCATION

    Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya and combined with Tsavo West National Park, covers an estimated four percent of the country's total land area.

    The diverse combination of vast plains, watercourses, rivers and waterfalls against a backdrop of distant hills make it an ideal place to spot a wide range of wildlife, including Tsavo's famous herds of red elephant.

    Other species of game include rhino, leopard, cheetah, buffalo, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra and over 500 species of bird including ostrich, kestrel and white buzzard.

    6. Cancellation

    By making a reservation with a hotel, you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and no-show policy of that hotel, and to any additional (delivery) terms and conditions of the hotel that may apply to your reservation or during your stay, including for services rendered and/or products offered by the hotel (the delivery terms and conditions of a hotel can be obtained with the relevant hotel). The general cancellation and no-show policy of each hotel is made available on our website on the hotel information pages, during the reservation procedure and in the confirmation email. Please note that certain rates or special offers are not eligible for cancellation or change. Please check the room details thoroughly for any such conditions prior to making your reservation.

    If you would like to review, adjust or cancel your reservation, please revert to the confirmation email and follow the instructions therein. Please note that you may be charged for your cancellation in accordance with the hotel�s cancellation and no-show policy. We recommend that you read the cancellation and no-show policy of the hotel carefully prior to making your reservation.

    7. Further Correspondence

    By completing a booking, you agree to receive (i) an email which we may send you shortly before your arrival date, giving you information on your destination and providing you with certain information and offers (including third party offers to the extent that you have actively opted in for this information) relevant to your booking and destination, and (ii) an email which we may send to you promptly after your stay at the hotel inviting you to complete our guest review form. Other than the email confirmation providing for the confirmation of the booking, the guest review invitation and the emails for which you may have actively opted in, we shall not send you any further (solicited or unsolicited) notices, emails or correspondence, unless you specifically agree otherwise.

    8. Guest Reviews

    The completed guest review may be (a) uploaded onto the relevant hotel�s information page on our website for the sole purpose of informing (future) customers of your opinion of the service (level) and quality of the hotel, and (b) (wholly or partly) used and placed by Booking.com at its sole discretion (e.g. for marketing, promotion or improvement of our service) on our website or such social media platforms, newsletters, special promotions, apps or other channels owned, hosted, used or controlled by Booking.com. We reserve the right to adjust, refuse or remove reviews at our sole discretion. The guest review form should be regarded as a survey and does not include any (further commercial) offers, invitations or incentives whatsoever.

    9. Disclaimer

    Subject to the limitations set out in these terms and conditions and to the extent permitted by law, we shall only be liable for direct damages actually suffered, paid or incurred by you due to an attributable shortcoming of our obligations in respect to our services, up to an aggregate amount of the aggregate cost of your reservation as set out in the confirmation email (whether for one event or series of connected events).

The translated version is a courtesy and office translation only and you cannot derive any rights from the translated version.
