The Aruba-Mara Camp can best be reached through the route Nairobi-Narok-Sekenani.
The road from Nairobi to Narok is in a very good condition since the end of 2009.
The road from Narok to Sekenani is currently under construction and is visibly better.
On Sekenani gate you have to the park entrance of US $ 80 / person (Jan 2012) and pay 800 Ksh for a Land Rover. The ticket is valid for 24 hours.
Here you have then direct the opportunity to see the first animals.
In the park there are some signs direction Talek and direction Aruba Mara Camp, so you can not really process itself thoroughly.
There is also an abbreviation of Sekenani by Talek without having to drive through the park. Ask about the current road situation in Sekenani (very dependent on the weather).
The journey to Nairobi Aruba-Mara is about 5 hours.
It is also possible to arrive by public transportation to us, but quite uncomfortable. The trip is a full day to avail (journey time also depends on the weather).
With bus or matatu (minibus) it goes for about 2000 ksh (2010) from Nairobi to Narok. Daily from Narok drives a matatu by Talek. Costs are about 500 ksh. The departure in Narok is at 14:00 clock. The ticket must be purchased one hour before departure. The return trip from Talek by Narok starts already at 4:00 in the morning.
But beware: the driving style of Matatufahrer is already used to.
The best value for money in terms of transport is a taxi from Nairobi (from Mombasa because of the distance not). The journey takes about 5 hours.
Also of Narok You can arrive by taxi to us. The journey takes about 3 hours here.

The camp is the result of the enthusiasm for the animals and nature of the Mara.
Before I had the idea to build a private safari camp, I'm with my old Nissan Patrol driven for many years by the whole of southern and eastern Africa. Each country, each region had its own charm, but here in the Mara all came together: fascinating landscape and a magnificent wildlife.
Here was the opportunity to be accommodated as a self-drive or an individual traveler, as well as hopeless to find a public restaurant.
Wherefore is my camp a combination of well maintained campground, cheap tents for self-drive and comfortable accommodation created for discerning guests, and the whole topped with a restaurant, where the fresh produce from Kenya are processed into culinary delights.
Bread and pasta are baked daily, and our pastas are homemade.Served in the bar, the fireplace or in the beer garden like a good glass of wine, a cold beer or a delicious long drink.
And so I ended up here in Talek
